These sections show how to configure your AdminBundle.
To manage easily your admin configuration, you can put it in a separate configuration file (for example, app/config/admins.yml) This is optional, you can write your configuration directly in your config.yml. If you choose to have a separate file, you have to import it in your config.yml (@see Configuration Organization).
It this configuration section, you can provide default parameters for the whole application. These configuration will be use in Admin if no other configuration overrides it.
Minimum configuration for application section :

Routing section contains 2 parameters : name_pattern and url_pattern.
name_pattern is the pattern used to generate Admin routes names. For example, if name_pattern is equal to lag.{admin}.{action} (default value), it means that if you have an Admin named "tauntaun" and an action list for this Admin, this route will be named "lag.tauntaun.list".
url_pattern is the pattern used for Admin route url. For example, if name_pattern is equal to lag.{admin}.{action} (default value), the url for "list" action in your Admin "tauntaun" will be "/tauntaun/list".
