Configuration

These sections show how to configure your AdminBundle.

To manage easily your admin configuration, you can put it in a separate configuration file (for example, app/config/admins.yml) This is optional, you can write your configuration directly in your config.yml. If you choose to have a separate file, you have to import it in your config.yml (@see Configuration Organization).

Application

It this configuration section, you can provide default parameters for the whole application. These configuration will be use in Admin if no other configuration overrides it.

Minimum configuration for application section :

    # admins.yml
    lag_admin:
        application:
            title: My Little Tauntaun
            description: My Little Tauntaun Management Suite
            bootstrap: true
            layout: LAGAdminBundle::layout.html.twig
            routing:
                name_pattern: lag.{admin}.{action}
                url_pattern:  /{admin}/{action}
            date_format: d/m/Y h:i:s
            translation:
                pattern: lag.admin.{key}
            block_template: ~
            fields_mapping: ~

Here is a description of each parameter :

title

Default : None

Required ? : Required

Description: Title use in title tag on each page of the application @see admin.layout.html.twig

description

Default : Empty string

Required ? : Optional

Description: Description used in meta tag description in page header

layout

Default : LAGAdminBundle::layout.html.twig

Required ? : Optional

Description: Define which main layout will be use in action view. You can use your own layout to override the whole template or just one block. Use Symfony syntax like "MyBundle::my_layout.html.twig". Be careful, if you remove some blocks in twig layout, some content may not be displayed.

For example, adding your own css :

{% extends "LAGAdminBundle::admin.layout.html.twig" %}

{% block stylesheets %}
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="{{ asset('my_css')" />
{% endblock %}

bootstrap

Default : true

Required ? : Optional

Description: If true, default bootstrap integration of SB Admin 2 theme will be used

routing

Required ? : Optional

Routing section contains 2 parameters : name_pattern and url_pattern.

name_pattern is the pattern used to generate Admin routes names. For example, if name_pattern is equal to lag.{admin}.{action} (default value), it means that if you have an Admin named "tauntaun" and an action list for this Admin, this route will be named "lag.tauntaun.list".

url_pattern is the pattern used for Admin route url. For example, if name_pattern is equal to lag.{admin}.{action} (default value), the url for "list" action in your Admin "tauntaun" will be "/tauntaun/list".
