Technical Evaluation

Architecture fit: The package is a Laravel/Filament plugin that replaces Filament’s page header and user menu for panels that explicitly register it. v0.2.1 improves architectural fit for multi-panel Laravel apps by scoping those overrides to opt-in panels.
Integration feasibility: Likely Composer-based installation with plugin registration on selected Filament panels and possibly asset/view publishing. The release reduces global side effects, which makes integration safer in apps with multiple panels.
Technical risk: Pre-1.0 versioning (v0.2.1) means behavior and APIs may still shift. This patch contains a meaningful behavior change: panels that previously showed Polder’s breadcrumb bar/user menu without registering the plugin will now fall back to Filament’s own views. Integration Approach

Stack fit: Best suited to Laravel applications using Filament panels, especially multi-panel admin apps that want branded headers, breadcrumbs, and user menus without forking Filament.
Migration path: Treat v0.2.1 as a patch upgrade but audit panel expectations. Ensure every panel that should use Polder registers the plugin; panels that should remain stock Filament should not register it.
Compatibility: Confirm Filament version constraints and panel registration behavior before rollout. The v0.2.1 fallback to Filament views for non-registered panels is the intended compatibility boundary.
Sequencing: Upgrade in development, register the plugin on one panel, run visual regression checks for header/breadcrumbs/user menu, verify CSS asset publishing, then promote to staging and production. Document which panels opt in.

Maintenance: Low-to-moderate. Pin the package version and review release notes closely while in 0.x; patch releases can still change behavior.
Support: Requires an internal owner for Filament panel registration and CSS/view publishing. The v0.2.1 notes are clear enough to support troubleshooting missing or unexpected header overrides.
Scaling: Per-panel opt-in scales better for multi-panel apps and reduces global CSS/header interference. Removing the invalid .fi-select-wrp rule is low risk because Filament does not define that class.
Failure modes: Missing plugin registration causes Filament defaults to render; stale published assets can cause visual drift; Filament version mismatch may break views; apps that depended on global Polder header/menu override must explicitly register the plugin.
