Layout:
- `src/Resources/assets/stimulus-peers/manual_lightbox_controller.ts` — Stimulus peer the host bundles (keep the
  `*_controller.ts` name and its import path stable: hosts re-export it)
- `src/Resources/assets/src/` — standalone entry (`manual-lightbox.ts`, `register-lightbox.ts`) built by Vite
  (`vite.config.ts`) into `src/Resources/public/js/manual-lightbox.js`, which is committed; CI fails when it is stale
- the demo compiles the peer with Pentatrion Vite (`demo/symfony8/assets/app.ts`)

Prefer:
- strict TypeScript (`pnpm run typecheck`), kebab-case file names except Stimulus `*_controller.ts`
- `textContent` / DOM nodes — ESLint forbids `innerHTML`, `outerHTML` and `insertAdjacentHTML`
- English JSDoc with `@param` / `@returns` on exported functions
- `make assets` after changing the standalone sources, `make test-ts` (Vitest, 100% today) before finishing

Use pnpm only (`packageManager` in package.json). Do not inspect or hand-edit the built `public/js` output.
