Select or Custom is a Laravel form component that lets users pick from a predefined select list or enter their own custom value when no option fits. It bridges strict dropdowns and free-text input, keeping data consistent while preserving flexibility.

  • Toggle between select and free-text entry
  • Saves either the chosen or typed value to one field
  • Configurable options and custom-input validation
  • Integrates with Laravel validation and old input
