This package is deprecated and should not be leveraged for any new development. As a PM, decisions would focus on migrating away from it entirely to the active azure-storage-php client library. Key actions include auditing existing dependencies, prioritizing migration timelines before the March 17, 2024 retirement deadline, and blocking new feature development that would rely on this package. Any use of this library post-retirement would introduce unmanaged technical debt, security risks, and compliance gaps.
Never for new projects.
