liberusoftware/organizations-teams-livewire
Livewire components for managing organizations and teams in Laravel apps. Provides ready-made UI for creating, viewing, and organizing teams within organizations, helping you build multi-tenant or collaborative features faster with less boilerplate.
module-organizations-teams domain module — it targets the recurring "orgs, teams, memberships, invitations, role assignment" screen set that most B2B SaaS products end up hand-building. A PM can use it as a reference scope definition (what screens and states a credible org/team feature needs) even if the package itself is never adopted.stancl/tenancy depending on whether you need auth/UI or data isolation.Adopt only when all of these hold:
Look elsewhere when:
stancl/tenancy or spatie/laravel-multitenancy.spatie/laravel-permission is the low-risk default. To executives: This is a small, unproven open-source UI add-on for team and organization management in our stack. It is not something I recommend we build a plan on — zero adoption, no asserted open-source license, and a single maintainer. Its value to us right now is as a scope reference: it shows the concrete screen inventory a credible org/team feature requires, which sharpens our build estimate. The recommendation is to fund a short spike (1–2 days) that maps our requirements against this package and two established alternatives, then decide. Cost of the spike is low; cost of adopting the wrong foundation is a rewrite.
To engineering: Treat it as a design input, not a dependency. The architectural idea — headless domain module with a swappable Livewire presentation adapter — is sound and worth mirroring in our own structure. The package itself has no community validation, an unclear license, and an inconsistent release record. If we do adopt it, we vendor the source, pin it, and own the fork. Do not add it to composer.json on a feature branch without a license determination and a maintained-state check.
The one-line ask: Approve a timeboxed evaluation spike and a license review; do not approve adoption yet.
