💡 Why Jitter?

When many clients retry at the same time, deterministic backoff can lead to synchronized retry bursts (the "thundering herd" problem).

Jitter introduces controlled randomness to retry delays, helping distribute retries over time while preserving the underlying backoff strategy.

Backwards Compatibility

This release is fully backwards compatible.

Existing applications will continue to behave exactly as before unless jitter is explicitly enabled.
