A Filament plugin for managing Laravel queues right from your admin panel. Monitor pending and failed jobs, retry or delete failures, and keep your background processing healthy without leaving the dashboard.
Bus::batch() state — including failed_job_ids and per-job options — giving the team a first-class view of batch failures without building an internal inspector. This informs whether to invest further in batch-based orchestration (chunked imports, fan-out jobs) or keep simpler per-job queues.failed_job_ids with a readable JSON list and renders options as decoded, pretty-printed JSON instead of raw PHP-serialized output. This is a direct reduction in time-to-diagnose: responders can copy IDs and inspect payloads without mental parsing or manual unserialize().options (e.g., allowFailures, maxExceptions) match intended behavior.Bus::batch) and lack a readable view of failed job IDs and batch options; you run PostgreSQL and have hit opaque serialized payloads; you want a lightweight, low-configuration complement to Horizon/Telescope rather than a replacement. To executives: A small, low-risk patch (1.1.2) to our queue-batch visibility tooling. It makes failed-job details human-readable — failed job IDs as clean JSON and batch options as formatted, decoded JSON instead of raw serialized strings — which shortens incident diagnosis and removes a source of manual error during on-call triage. It also confirms our PostgreSQL deployments are handled correctly, so there's no operational penalty for the database choice. No new infrastructure, no migration, no API change.
To engineering: Patch release, no breaking changes. Two fixes in the Job Batch view: failed_job_ids now renders as a JSON list rather than a comma-joined string (safe to copy-paste directly into artisan queue:retry or a query), and options is decoded and pretty-printed, including the base64-encoded serialized form PostgreSQL stores. Upgrade is a composer update on a patch constraint; verify the view against your driver after upgrading. This removes driver-specific serialization handling from our own runbooks.
