Laravel GAMP is a Laravel wrapper for Google Analytics Measurement Protocol, enabling server-side tracking of events, page views, and ecommerce transactions. It offers a simple, fluent API to send analytics hits from your backend without client-side JavaScript.
gtag.Adopt only if all of the following hold:
/collect). UA properties stopped processing hits in July 2023. If your property is GA4, this package does not send usable data unless you have a GA4-compatible fork or override the endpoint.Look elsewhere — or build the small in-house wrapper — if:
measurement_id + api_secret, ideally via a maintained library or a Server-Side GTM container). The v1.10 release does not change any of the above; it only widens the install constraint.
For executives: v1.10 is a maintenance release — it adds Laravel 10 compatibility and nothing else. It keeps existing Google Analytics integrations installable through our framework upgrade, but it is not an investment case. Because the underlying Universal Analytics protocol has been retired, our recommendation is to plan migration to GA4 server-side tracking rather than expand reliance on this package.
For engineering: minor version, no API or behavioral changes; PR #42 only relaxes illuminate/* constraints. Safe to bump if we already depend on it. Do not adopt it for new work — the UA /collect endpoint is defunct for GA4 properties, and a first-party GA4 Measurement Protocol client is a small, low-risk build.
