Laravel Swagger API generates interactive OpenAPI/Swagger documentation for your Laravel API directly from your routes, controllers, and annotations—no separate spec files to maintain. Browse endpoints, try requests, and keep docs in sync with your code.
Start by installing the package in a Laravel application and validating its primary workflow locally before touching Vapor:
composer require <vendor>/<package>
php artisan vendor:publish --provider="<Vendor>\<Package>\<PackageServiceProvider>"
Look first at:
config/<package>.php for required environment variables.A sensible first use case is the package’s default happy path in a standard Laravel app: configure credentials in .env, run the package’s main command or controller action, and confirm expected output. Once that works, repeat the same flow in a Vapor environment using vapor CLI and a staging deployment.
For Vapor, confirm before deploying that the package does not depend on a writable local filesystem outside /tmp, and that any cache, session, queue, or storage integration uses S3, Redis, or another managed service rather than local disk.
Use the package through Laravel’s normal container and configuration conventions:
config/<package>.php and drive environment-specific values through .env and Vapor secrets. For Vapor deployments, apply these patterns:
vapor secret or the Vapor UI, not in committed .env files.s3 in production.vapor deploy staging and exercise the package’s main workflow against the deployed environment, not only locally. If the package exposes events, macros, or bindings, integrate through those extension points rather than modifying vendor code. For multi-environment rollouts, gate new package behaviour behind configuration flags so Vapor and non-Vapor environments can be enabled independently.
/tmp. Any package code that writes to storage_path() or base_path() will fail in production. Check for local file writes and redirect them to S3 or /tmp./tmp is ephemeral and per-instance. Do not use it for data that must survive between requests or be shared across Lambda invocations.php artisan config:cache as part of deployment and verify the package reads configuration correctly when cached.vapor tail and CloudWatch logs. Local success does not guarantee Vapor success when storage, queues, or environment variables differ. How can I help you explore Laravel packages today?
