Elcweb CommonBundle is a small Symfony/Doctrine utility that keeps persisted timestamps consistent by storing every DateTime value as UTC. It ships a custom DBAL type, UTCDateTimeType, which converts values on the way into and out of the database, so your application code can keep working in any timezone.
Install it with composer require elcweb/common-bundle, then map Doctrine's datetime type to the bundle class in config.yml.
