Laravel Telemetry Laravel Package

Collector-free telemetry for Laravel. Read llms.txt for the doc index; start at docs/getting-started/api-reference.md for the public API.

Find out why a Laravel request or job is slow using the trace data cboxdk/laravel-telemetry records. Use when a page or endpoint is slow, when you suspect an N+1 or duplicate queries or an API called once per row, when you need to compare a request before and after a fix, or when you need every trace and a CPU profile for one user, tenant, route or job for a while.

Add metrics, spans and events to Laravel code with cboxdk/laravel-telemetry. Use when instrumenting a business flow (orders, imports, billing), adding a counter, gauge or histogram, wrapping work in a span, naming a metric, choosing labels, or publishing telemetry from a package. Covers instrument choice, OTel naming and units, bounded labels, context dimensions and what is already auto-instrumented.

Test telemetry with Telemetry::fake() from cboxdk/laravel-telemetry. Use when writing or fixing a Pest/PHPUnit test that asserts a counter, gauge, histogram, span or event was recorded, when a test should prove a label value or a cardinality budget, when a test should fail on too many queries, an N+1, duplicate or slow queries, or a slow request (performance budgets), or when testing a telemetry provider or an exporter that rejects a batch.
