# Vmedia conventions

- Namespace: `Voodflow\Vmedia`. Composer: `voodflow/vmedia`. Plugin: `VmediaPlugin`.
- Vault + galleries architecture — one disk object, many memberships.
- Domain companions attach via `HasAttachedMedia` + `VmediaFileUpload`; do not put Spatie `HasMedia` on those models.
- Prefer `vmedia.*` route names for the HTTP media API.
- Own Filament **Media** nav group — not under page-builder settings.
- Public docs live in the root **README**; `docs/` keeps `images/` + `RELEASE_CHECKLIST.md` only.
- Companions register vault roots via `Vmedia::registerPluginVault` / `RegistersPluginVault`.
