Install via composer require cache/doctrine-adapter:^3.0 and wrap an existing Doctrine cache with DoctrineCachePool. Doctrine Cache 2.x ships the legacy interfaces but no storage drivers, so your application must supply the concrete implementation. Version 3 uses a new storage format with generation snapshots and per-tag markers; drain workers and clear the cache before deploying or rolling back.
